CLIFTON FOOTBALL CLUB
PARENT CODE OF CONDUCT.

Please read carefully.

Clifton FC regards any of the following to be deemed as unacceptable behavior within the Club and will take serious action against any person/persons who is found guilty of such actions by the Disciplinary Committee.

Examples being, Physical violence, Threatening / Abusive behaviour, Persistant harrassment, Racist / Sexist Language, Racial Attack, Sexual Harrassment, Illegal Drugs and ALL forms of Bullying will not be tolerated. This list is not exhaustive.

Clifton FC operates a Traffic Light system for disciplinary matters. If any person/persons is found guilty of an offence they will be given a punishment using this system.

A RED  Light could mean a lifetime ban from CFC or a ban with a period of time attached. {ie 3, 6 or 12 months}

A GREEN or AMBER warning issued will remain in place for a period of 3 – 6months.

Any combination of a Green or Amber warning could result in a Red light being issued.

If an allegation is made against any person/persons the Club may suspend them pending investigation. The severity of the offence will determine the punishment deemed necessary by the Disciplinary Committee.

Managers’/ Coaches: Decisions regarding Team selections must be respected by all concerned, even if you disagree. It is extremely rare for the Club’s Committee to become involved in these kind of matters.

Alcohol: The Club accepts that it does supply alcoholic beverages to over 18s, but it is still up to you to be in control of your actions. This is especially important when in the prescence of minors.

Please act responsibly.

All of the above will apply to anywhere the Clifton FC / Clifton All Whites name is used.

This includes Matches, Training, Tournaments, Clubroom / Grounds and Trips etc.

This Club is supporting The FA’s Respect programme to ensure football can be enjoyed by everyone in a safe and positive environment. Play your part and observe The FA’s Respect Code of Conduct for spectators and parents/carers as well as Clifton Football Club’s at all times.

I will:

Remain outside the field of play and behind the Designated Spectator Area (where provided)

Never engage in, or tolerate, offensive, insulting or abusive language or behaviour

Always respect the match officials’ decisions

Applaud effort and good play as well as success

In addition, when attending youth games I will:

Remember that children play for FUN

Let the coaches do their job and not confuse the players by telling them what to do

Encourage the players to respect the opposition and match officials

Never criticise a player for making a mistake -mistakes are part of learning

I understand that breaches of the code may result in action being taken by my County FA and /or The FA.

THIS CODE OF CONDUCT MUST BE SIGNED BY THE PARENT / GUARDIAN AS PART OF  THE PLAYERS’ MEMBERSHIP AND IS A COMPULSORY REQUIREMENT.
